Bookmark: The Filipino Bookstore is inviting everyone to its Annual Book Sale on September 9-14, 2013. Discounts of up to 50% will be given to various titles. Books on Arts and Culture, Environment, Food, Health and Fitness, History and Politics, Biography, Religion, Travel, Literature, Audio/Music and Video materials are available. 

Included in the sale are titles which won awards in the past such as Lub-dub, Lub-dub, one of National Children’s Book Awards’ Best Reads for 2010; Jose Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo translations by Soledad Lacson-Locsin, winner 1996 National Book Award for Best Translation and Bone Tumors in Filipinos by Dr. Edward Wang and Dr. Ariel Vergel de Dios, winner 2007 National Book Award for Medicine. Also on sale in the Filipino Literary Classics are Nick Joaquin’s The Woman Who Had Two Navels, N.V.M. Gonzalez’s The Bamboo Dancers and Bienvenido Santos’ Brother, My Brother. 

Children’s Book on the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation’s Great Men and Women of Asia–Children’s Series and Bookmark’s Modern Heroes for The Filipino Youth Series are offered.
